This article will consider the features of Confucianism, Daoism and Buddhism, which are historically and socially rooted in the minds and behavior of many generations of the Chinese people on the example of the artistic images of the novel “A Dream of Red Mansions”. Author provides a short historic review of Beijing opera origin and gives an explanation of principle difference from Western tradition.
