In this article, the artistic concept of “wine” is examined at the linguistic and mental levels of the cycle of poems by Tao Yuan-ming “20 Songs of Imbibing Wine”. The component structure of the concept “wine” includes nominative, functional, individually evaluative and productive-objective components, each of them carries explicit or implicit information that reflects the author’s vision of the world. It was also determined that this concept has a diverse expressive structure.
