К ВОПРОСУ О КОГНИТИВНО-СЕМАНТИЧЕСКИХ АСПЕКТАХ МОРЕПЛАВАТЕЛЬНОЙ ОБРАЗНОСТИ В ДРАМЕ «АПОЛЛОН 13»
The article treats the seafaring imagery on the example of the script of the drama “Apollo 13”. The peculiarity of the imagery in the script under study is the unique amalgam of technical and seafaring imagery, which forms a second plot paradigm. The aim of the script is in demonstrating difficulties of a space flight. In the groundwork of transfer there is a common for both technical and seafaring spheres megaconcept ship which is being detalized by twelve seafaring sub-concepts. The hypothesis put forward in the article treats the notion of a heuristic potential. Thanks to closeness of the two spheres their comparison is swift and devoid of conflict. Resulting unity, coherence and logical order of the imagery leaves a favourable impact on the script’s persuasive power.
