Концепции естественнонаучных учебных предметов: интегративный подход

The article considers the concepts of academic subjects in the context of the goals and results of natural science education. The authors pay special attention to natural science literacy (NSL) as an integrative educational result that characterizes the quality of education. The concept of NSL is defined in accordance with international approaches to educational results evaluating. The authors consider the composition of natural science competencies that reflect the formation of natural science literacy in a school graduate. The article reviews the main factors and conditions for the formation of NSL in the process of studying natural science academic disciplines.
