Topography, composition and properties of loose deposits of the Astrakhan region is converted under the influence of natural and anthropogenic processes. Geomorphologicali dangerouse appeasance is caused by deflation, suffusion, landslides, wave abrasion and water erosion.Weathering of toxic aerosols from contaminated areas is harmful to the health of the population. Damage can be reduced by using a scientifically sound environmental management.
