ОЦЕНКА ТРОФИЧЕСКОГО СТАТУСА ОЗЕР ЦЕНТРАЛЬНОЙ ЧАСТИ КАРЕЛЬСКОГО ПЕРЕШЕЙКА ПО ФИТОПЛАНКТОНУ

An assessment of ecological state of 20 Karelian Isthmus lakes was made in July of 2009-2012.. Phytoplankton species composition, level of biomass and its structure have been used to assess trophic state and level of saprobity of the lakes. Biomass of phytoplankton ranged from 1.6 g/m3 in Lake Svetloe up to 48.5 g/m3 in Lake Vishnevskoe, chlorophyll "a" respectively- from 4.1 µg/l to 146 µg/l. Level of phytoplankton biomass closely correlated with phosphorus concentration. With increase of lake trophy total biomass increases and also share of blue-greens and euglenophytes. In eutrophic lakes mass development of blue-green algae caused intensive water-bloom.
