The article demonstrates the results of a survey, conducted in 2022 among school students of 8 and 9grades in several schools of Pskov. The goal of the survey was to find out the attitude of school students to chemistry as an educational subject, to identify the main challenges they face when studying chemistry and the reasons of those challenges.
