МОТЫЖНОЕ ЗЕМЛЕДЕЛИЕ ТРОПИЧЕСКОЙ АФРИКИКАК КУЛЬТУРНО-ИСТОРИЧЕСКИЙ ФЕНОМЕН
Attention is drawn to the hoeing agriculture of the peoples of Africa as an essential part of the material and spiritual culture created by numerous generations. The position is shared, according to which it is too early to make a hand hoe a museum exhibit. The problem is that without law enforcement measures, the use of tractors and heavy ploughshares with a dump is often ineffective, because it leads to loss of fertility and soil erosion. The reasons lie in the special thermal regime, the mechanical state of the soil, in the concentration of soil microorganisms in the upper layer. Meanwhile, thanks largely to hoeing agriculture, several cultures have been formed in the tropics that are important for the preservation and development of the identity of the Hausa, Bambara, Songhai peoples and have made a certain contribution to African civilization.
