Astafev and «Pogorelshchina» by Klyev the axiological codes of Russian literature and their classifcation are considered. The author shows how, at the fgurative and mythological level, through axiological codes (garden crops) V.P Astafev presents a model of a thousand-year-old peasant civilization, and N. A. Klyuev depicts terrible pictures of the collapse and the death of holy Rus' with its masters, imperishable and ancient beauty, faith in the years of « ruin of the peasantry» The axiological codes of Russian literature constitute the matrix of Russian culture, they are culturemes, through which the national picture of the world is modeled in its dynamics and various ups and downs, the process of re-realization of the real world into the metaphysical world takes place.},
